Toothache!A toothache is from inflammation or infection inside the nerves of the tooth. It often feels like an intense throbbing pain that gets worse to hot things! We need to find out the offending tooth and treat the nerve!
A dental abscess is an infection underneath the tooth. Its symptoms are pain when you bite down, and it might cause swelling of the area. This is very serious and should be treated as soon as possible before it spreads. Treatment includes filling up the tooth with antibiotics, removing the tooth, draining the abscess +/- systemic antibiotics.
